Xiaomi Mi lite Price/ Cmaera, and Processor Review 2021
Xiaomi has added everything most users need to the Mi 11 Lite. The 6.55-inch OLED display has excellent quality at 90Hz. The set of three cameras on the back is similar to that of the Mi 11, and the processor is a Snapdragon 732G. You will also have stereo speakers, NFC, microSD slot, and even an infrared port. Is the Mi 11 Lite really good at everything?
Packaging and unpacking
The Mi 11 Lite package is similar to the latest Redmi and Poco models. The box contains a 33W charger, USB-C cable and USB-C to 3.5mm adapter.
As usual with Xiaomi, the package includes a transparent silicone case. There is also a thin screen protector, but it is one of those cheap types that instantly get a lot of fingerprints. You will most likely remove it almost immediately.
Design and appearance
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite smartphones are among the thinnest and lightest smartphones released by the company in recent years. The 4G version weighs only 157 grams, with a body thickness of 6.8 mm, and in this regard, it is very different from many competitors.
The back and front of the case is covered with glass, and between them there are plastic side frames. The front panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Unfortunately, the Mi 11 Lite has no water protection. The SIM card slot is covered with a rubber flap, but the rest of the case is vulnerable to water. I would like at least IP53 protection, like the Poco X3 Pro or Redmi Note 10 Pro.
The bezels around the screen are rather small, and the hole for the front camera is located in the upper left corner. A tiny grille for the earpiece is hidden in the upper frame. There is no notification LED, although you can activate special effects for the sides of the screen.
The camera module is the same as that of the Xiaomi Mi 11 – glass and consists of two parts. On the right is the ultra-wide-angle camera and LED flash. On the left is a small additional module with a main sensor and a macro lens.
The power and volume keys are located on the right side, the first has a built-in fingerprint scanner. He reacts instantly. Above you will also find an infrared port and one of the microphones. Below is the main microphone, speaker, USB-C connector and a hybrid SIM card slot. You can use either dual SIM or SIM and microSD.
One of the main advantages of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is its 6.55-inch OLED display. It has the usual 1080p resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.
There is support for 10-bit colors, which means that the screen can display up to a billion colors. What’s more, a recent update brings HDR10 + support. You can watch content on Netflix and other similar services in full Full HD. Prior to that, the Mi 11 Lite only had HDR10 support.
The refresh rate can be 60 Hz or 90 Hz. If you watch a video or stop interacting with the screen, it will automatically switch to 60Hz. The maximum brightness in automatic mode reaches 800 nits, and manually it can be raised to 500 nits. The minimum brightness value is only 2.8 nits, which is excellent performance for this price segment.
Like the rest of Xiaomi smartphones, the Mi 11 Lite has three color profiles: Auto, Vivid and Original. The first corresponds to the DCI-P3 color space, the shades are fairly accurate, although they tend to blue. But, only in the “Auto” mode you can change the color temperature yourself. As the name suggests, a “Saturated” profile will give brighter hues relative to “Auto”. “Standard” is the most accurate of all, with an average Delta E of just 0.9.
Cameras Mi 11 Lite
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra wide angle lens and a 5MP tele macro lens. At the front is a 16MP front camera.
Main sensor – Samsung GW3 performs pixel binning by default, so images are saved in 16MP resolution. The resulting photos look great – the detail is very high and there is practically no noise. Colors are accurate and natural in all conditions. If you don’t like natural tones, there is a switch to AI mode. It is essentially a manual color enhancer. Whether you want blue skies or bright green grass, this feature is for you.
2x zoom for the main digital camera. It’s just enlarging the photo and cropping it around the edges. It makes no sense to turn on the 64-MP mode, the quality will remain practically the same when the files take up 30–40 MB of memory space. The results will be saved for a few seconds.
The Mi 11 Lite’s ultra-wide-angle camera shoots just as well as most competitors. Distortion correction is automatically enabled and does its job well – the colors look nice.
Mi 11 Lite Video Capturing
When it comes to video shooting, the main sensor is capable of recording 4K / 30 fps. At 1080p, 60 fps is available. You can turn on electronic stabilization, although the viewing angle will become smaller and the quality will be worse. However, for its price, the video quality from the Mi 11 Lite is high. Moreover, the sound is recorded in stereo and turns out to be surprisingly deep and rich.
Hardware & Processor Performance
The SD732G is not much different from the SD730 and SD730G. It has eight cores: two Kryo 470 Gold (Cortex-A76, 2.3 GHz) and six Kryo 470 Silver (Cortex-A55, 1.8 GHz). Graphics – Adreno 618, when the RAM can be 6 GB or 8 GB, the size of the internal storage is 64 GB or 128 GB.
