Realme Narzo 50i Daraz 11-11-2021 Review
A month ago, a mid-range smartphone Realme Nazro 50i was presented, the main feature of which was a FullHD display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and an 8 megapixel camera. The smartphone is already available for purchase in Pakistan at a price of 20 thousand rupees.
Realme Nazro 50i comes in a beautifu box, in which, after opening, you can find a smartphone, a simple silicone case, massive 65W charging (at first glance it might seem that it is capable of delivering up to 120W, but no), USB Type-C and documentation.

Realme Nazro 50i Design
The smartphone received a 6.5-inch IPS-display, which is covered with an unnamed tempered glass (probably one of the previous generations of Gorilla Glass, which is often used in budget models). Otherwise, the entire body of the smartphone is made of plastic, and the back cover shimmers from a gradient of gray to purple. In the corner on the back of the Realme Nazro 50i there is a slightly protruding block of three cameras and a flash.
On the right side of the smartphone there is only a power button, combined with a fingerprint scanner, which works almost instantly. And the volume control buttons were placed in the center of the left side – you need to get used to this, but in the end it turns out to be more convenient than the usual arrangement in a row with the power button, since under no scenarios it will be possible to confuse the volume and lock buttons. Also on the left is a triple slot for two SIM cards and a microSD card.
At the bottom there is a USB Type-C port, a cutout for a multimedia speaker and an audio output of a 3.5 mm minijack, which is rarely found in modern smartphones.
There are no questions about the build quality of the Realme Nazro 50i, but I wonder how long a fully plastic smartphone will live without wearing it in a case. In any case, this is not a problem of a specific model, but of the entire segment. Finding a metal or glass model at this price point is almost impossible.
A possible disadvantage lies in the brand of the back of the device – fingerprints remain on its surface. This could have been avoided if matte plastic had been used instead of glossy.
The front of the smartphone has a classic design – a “borderless display” with a cutout in the upper left corner for the front camera. The frames are quite narrow for this segment, but they cannot be called invisible either.
Realme Nazro 50i Screen
The display of the smartphone is a 6.5-inch IPS matrix with FullHD + (1080×2412) resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The company’s declared brightness reaches 600 nits at peak values. Using the smartphone at night or in the direct rays of the autumn sun is not difficult, but it is not known how the Realme Nazro 50i will manifest itself in the summer.
The system provides the ability to auto-select the mode – that is, the smartphone switches between 30 Hz, 60 Hz, 90 Hz and 120 Hz, depending on the task being performed, saving both resources and charge. When switching modes, no twitching or delays were noticed.
The company’s smartphones come with the proprietary Realme UI shell, which resembles a “pure android” with some changes in the form of useful functions and add-ons.
Unlike some skins, there are no ads here, everything looks simple and at the same time beautiful. For ten days of testing, no freezes or bugs were noticed in the system interface.
Realme Nazro 50i Performance
The smartphone is powered by an 8-core processor, which will be enough for everyday tasks and even for most games. The RAM in the smartphone is 4 GB, that is quite sufficient for day to day tasks.
The mid-price segment is always a compromise solution. You still have to sacrifice something. There are more advantages – a high-quality shell, devoid of any bugs, a good screen, decent main cameras, high-quality assembly and sufficient performance for its price.
