Realme 6i review & price in Pakistan (pta tax on 6i Realme)
- Realme 6i price Pakistan: 33,000
- PTA Tax on Realme 6i: 7,000
The Realme 6i joins the tightly packed market of mid-range smartphones and cuts a decent figure in the test. The performance is good and the battery life is excellent. However, the LC display brings with it problems common to its class, such as low resolution and poor color representation.
And the camera is the major weak point here too – which is typical for cell phones under the 200 euro mark. The price is low and the highlight of the otherwise clear equipment is the 128 GByte internal memory.
Realme 6i in the test: Excellent battery
The Realme 6i has been given a large 5,000 mAh battery that lasted almost 14:30 hours in our online runtime test. If the battery is empty, the supplied 18-watt fast-charging power supply unit charges it completely in 154 minutes – this takes a little long. If you are in a hurry, you can expect the battery to be almost 30 percent full after 30 minutes of charging.
Display & performance
The resolution of 1,600 x 720 is too low for the 6.5-inch display. As a result, the pixel density is only 269 ppi, which makes the LC display less sharp. In addition, the screen only displays 73 percent of the large DCI-P3 color space, which leads to somewhat weak colors. It looks better in terms of brightness (474 cd / m²) and the checkerboard contrast without ambient light (154: 1).
The values are quite decent for the price range and better than many competing devices from our list of the best . In the middle on the upper edge there is a display recess (notch) for the camera lens.
The performance of the Mediatek Helio G80 processor, which is supported by 4 GB of RAM, is really good. Especially when you consider the price of around 33,000 pkr . It’s not enough for modern 3D games, but the Realme 6i achieved a decent 8,848 points in the everyday PCMark simulation. Even cell phones over 50,000 pkr often achieve significantly less.
Equipment & camera
The equipment of the 6i is typical of the price and is rather clear and not entirely modern. There is no current ac-WLAN, only n-WLAN is installed and there is no NFC for mobile payment. Realme also dispenses with facial recognition to unlock the cell phone or faster LTE than just 300 Mbit / s.
On the other hand, Bluetooth 5.0 and the large internal memory, which offers a nominal 128 GByte, are positive. You can also expand this with a memory card while using two SIM cards (dual SIM).
The Realme 6i’s camera proved to be a major weak point in the test. Despite the 48 megapixel sensor, the image quality is only in the satisfactory range (expert rating: 3.3 / measurement rating: 3.5). There is no optical image stabilizer and videos can only be recorded in 1080p and at 30 frames per second.
