Oppo Find X3 Pro review, price in Pakistan & Performance
Oppo Find X3 Pro lowest retail price in Pakistan is 175,000
Samsung and Apple have something to fear – a sequel to Oppo’s great flagship has come out. The highly anticipated Oppo Find X3 Pro has become one of the best all-around smartphones to date.
Its predecessor was the first model with a dynamic refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 1440p. Samsung only got this opportunity in the recent Galaxy S21 Ultra. But, Oppo is ahead again, only now in a different aspect. Find X3 Pro boasts 10-bit color depth in all stages of imaging – a first for a smartphone.
What’s in the box?
Unlike their Galaxi and iPhone, the Oppo Find X3 Pro sits in a big box full of add-ons. In addition to the new Find X, you’ll also find a 65W VOOC 2.0 power adapter and a 6.5A USB-A-to-C cable inside.
Design and appearance
The Oppo Find X3 Pro smartphone is rounded on all sides and stretched vertically, so it fits comfortably in the hand. The back panel is made of a homogeneous piece of glass, which took 40 hours of manufacturing process. When bending, 2 thousand control points were taken into account
As a result, the case here is thinner, lighter and more compact than that of the S21 Ultra, although they have almost the same display diagonals. Particularly pleasant is the matte blue surface, which does not leave fingerprints. For lovers of shiny cases, there is a glossy version in black, as well as white and mocha.
The Find X3 Pro, like its predecessor, has an IP68 rating against dust and water, and I’m glad to see Oppo adhere to this official certification standard. Most of the front is a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with QHD resolution. The screen is not curved; it is the glass that covers it curved on the sides.
Back in 2020, Oppo developed a unique 6.7-inch display with Pixelworks. It was taken as a basis for the development of the Find X3 Pro display. At the same time, the panel has a refresh rate of 120 Hz along with a full QHD + resolution. There is support for LTPO – an adaptive refresh rate of 5-120 Hz, which saves battery power.
The Oppo Find X3 Pro has the widest refresh rate range of any smartphone. When displaying static images, it decreases to 5 Hz, and in games – it increases to 120 Hz. And all this happens automatically, at the hardware level, which makes the X3 Pro a truly unique smartphone. According to Oppo, the display here uses 46% less power than the static refresh rate.
Unique display features
But, the display of the Oppo Find X3 Pro is not easy, it offers a 10-bit color system, which is also used when shooting. So far, only this smartphone from Oppo is capable of capturing, encoding and displaying over a billion colors with such ease.
The device’s ability to control brightness, contrast and color is so advanced that the company was even able to implement a tool here for people with color blindness. For this, the standard Munsell 100 Hue Test is used. Can’t see the red color? Find X3 Pro will detect this and provide 765 possible panel calibrations where you can actually distinguish red tones. This approach is not easy surprising …
Find X3 Pro Cameras
The Oppo Find X3 Pro has four sensors in a sleek, rounded-edge module with the main cameras of the Oppo Find X3 Pro. The wide-angle Sony IMX 766 lens shoots at 50-megapixel resolution and has OIS. The same Sony IMX 766 sensor is used as an ultra wide-angle lens, but with an aperture of f / 2.2. Complementing the kit is a 13MP telephoto lens with 5x hybrid and 20x digital zoom, as well as a unique 3MP Microlens camera. The front camera shoots at 32MP.
Instead of 5x periscope optics as on the previous model, there is a 13MP telephoto lens with 5x lossless hybrid zoom.
System and software
Oppo’s interface has become so user-friendly that pure Android seems a little primitive. Particularly pleasing is the Fingerprint Quick Launch function, which gives you quick access to the most used applications from the lock screen. Another great feature is the one-handed mode. It is enough to make a movement from the left or right side, and all the necessary icons are grouped around your finger.
Find X3 Pro supports always-on display, you can schedule it to run or leave it on permanently. ColorOS offers a ton of new AOD themes to choose from or customize to suit your needs. There is also an Edge Lightning function – the edges of the display will flash in different colors with new notifications.
The Oppo Find X3 Pro is powered by the most powerful Snapdragon 888 processor to date and 12GB of RAM. Of course, the smartphone instantly completes any task.
Find X3 Pro performs well in performance tests. In Geekbench 5, the smartphone has 926 points in single-core mode, and 3316 points in multi-core mode. However, the Find X3 Pro’s graphics benchmarks are second to none. It achieves 70 fps, which is better than the 64 fps of the S21 Ultra.
The Snapdragon 888 is an octa-core triple-cluster processor that offers up to 25% better performance and power efficiency than the Snapdragon 865. Chief among these eight cores is the Kryo 680 Prime × 2.84GHz, based on the best ARM Cortex-X1 design. This is followed by the Kryo 680 Gold × 2.42 GHz trio based on the Cortex-A78. Finally, we have four Cortex-A55 based Kryo 680 Silver x 1.8 GHz cores for simpler tasks.
The Oppo Find X3 Pro is an almost perfect flagship smartphone. Here we get a display with unique technologies and flawless hues. The hardware is the best possible, including the Snapdragon 888 processor.
